This review is for a furnished, serviced apartment, not an empty one.

I moved here from Australia last week, drove around jetlagged to half a dozen places. I was looking fors short term , furnished place for myself with Internet access, clean, comfortable, quiet, central and as cheap as I could get whilst meeting all the above. This place hit the spot. I initially booked in for a couple of nights as I thought I might drive around some more to see what else was out there. Then I booked in for a week. I've just added another week. For a few bucks above base rate furnished places you really wouldn't bother looking elsewhere. On Orbitz I am paying $63 plus tax. The cheapest place in town is Motel 6 on El Camino at $46, followed by two other places in Sunnyvale, also on El Camino, at around $60. But I checked them all out and they are either really noisy, smell weird, super basic (Like the microwave on the living room counter), or just really concrete like.

This place is nestled in amongst trees with Safeway round the corner, located centrally to all the freeways, and has a nice, clean pool in a courtyard.

The furnishings are all newish, good size televisions, the one bedroom I am in is Huge with separate kitchen (Well equipped), dining and a quality bed. Sheets changed and room cleaned daily. Free, comprehensive breakfast. Good front desk help.

I just reread this and it sounds like a pitch from the manager but with all the hassles of moving from another country I am very relaxed here and to be frank, not looking forward to leaving when my stuff arrives.

I did have once minor hassle when the reception lady tried to shift me from another room when I rebooked at the Orbitz rate online (I originally paid through the front desk), but I plead my case to another of the receptionists later and they let me stay put. Pretty fair.

The other three reviews were accurate. Unless that $10 a night is worth it to you at all costs, you can't go wrong here.

P.S. About 9pm a couple of turbo prop planes fly in low overhead to San Jose International.
