nice place, though pricey

This is a very nice place, brand new, though pricey. I moved here b/c it has A/C and washer/dryer and double pane windows for good insulation. So far I like this place a lot though I wouldn't say it is like paradise on earth like the other reviewers seem to think.
You pay for all utilities including water and hot water and trash. There is a pool, hot tub, fitness center, business center and lounge. I have had some minor maintenance issues but they were resolved quickly. I like that my door has a private entrance, meaning not directly across from the door to another apt, which is unusual for an apt. complex. Some things to watch for:
1. One covered parking spot per apt. Most of the "guest" (uncovered) parking spots are compact (narrow) spaces. Also the guest parking fills up so it is difficult to find a spot if you come home late in the evening in your 2nd car.
2. The restrictions in the lease on satellite dishes regarding liability insurance are not enforceable according to the FCC. That means you don't have to follow it. Also the restrictions on professional installation are probably not enforceable according to the FCC. If you have a satellite dish and the management tells you to follow the (illegal) rules, you can call the FCC and they will send you an email to print out and show the management.
3. Pet restrictions: you will pay pet rent pet security deposit. All cats must be indoor cats and must be declawed. Dogs can't be walked on the apt. complex grounds--you must walk to outside the apt. complex when walking your dog.
4. My living room is near the garbage dumpsters and it is very noisy when the garbage truck comes early in the morning, even with the double pane window. Don't live in an apt where your bedroom is near the garbage dumpsters if you are sensitive to early morning noise. Overall though the complex is quiet.
5. Don't expect to put much on your porch/balcony. BBQ grills are not allowed, though I have seen them, and there is a lease provision that your porch/balcony must be nice looking, which means if you store stuff out there, even a stroller, the mgmt can ask you to remove it.
6. The resident lounge hours are posted as 9am-10pm, but the door is locked so I think the hours are actually when the mgmt office is open, because they have to let you in. Also sometimes the resident lounge is not available because it is rented out for a private party.
