It took me 2 months of living there to realize that Tamarind Square was not a good place to live.

When I first moved in I complained about my heater making a loud sound. It sound like clothes in the spin cycle of the washing machine. I was told by maintenance that this was normal and the heater in his unit was so loud that he did not sleep with his on. I actually had to sleep with my bedroom door closed and could still hear the heater turning on and off. I was told they were going to take a closer look at it and it wasnt until I gave notice that they had an outside repairman take a look at it. The repairman found what was wrong but nonetheless the heater was still loud. The repairman said that heaters this old and cheap tend to be loud even when in perfect condition.

Tamarind Square as a whole is not customer service focused. I was lied to several times and even when trying to break my lease because they had not fixed my heater during the two months I lived there they were still rude and not accommodating.

Don't plan on getting any of your deposit back either. No matter how clean your apartment is they will charge you about $250 dollars for cleaning services.

Oh did I mention that during my first week in the apartment the smoke alarm went off every time I took a shower!

For the amount of money they charge, (I paid close to $2700 a month), I would definitely not recommend them under any circumstances!

I agree, indeed their (office) staff is rude and not accommodating; maintenance trys very hard, and has no control over them.
