overall nice apartment

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005
I rented the large one bedroom - 830sf.
It has a large tiled entryway with 2 closets right there. I put a shoerack at the entryway and this helped keep the carpet a lot cleaner. Our last apartment opened up right into the carpeted living room so we put our shoes outside the door and some neighbors think this is tacky.
My husband, toddler and I lived here and it was plenty big. The living room is a very good size. There was plenty of room to fix half as the toddlers play area and the other half as the sitting/tv area. I also loved the seperate area for the dining room. I fit a desk, shelving unit, and a dining table in there. The layout is great. The walk thru kitchen makes it feel bigger.
I love the tile in the kitchen, entry way, and bathroom. It looks like expensive stone tile, but its really not. I wish they would put this tile in the dining area instead of carpet. I dont understand why most apartments put carpet in the dining area.
The neighbors are nice. We never heard the neighbors to the side of us too often. But the neighbors upstairs from us we could. The floor would creak whereever they were walking. I put my tv or radio on to drown it out.
The maintenance is good. My garbage disposal broke and it was fixed the next day.
Parking was never a problem. Even really late at night there is parking available. Never heard of any break-ins.
The office staff were nice. I went there a few times to pick up packages. I dont know why people complain so much about office staff.
Anyway, overall this apartment is better than most out there, and the layout is really comfortable and makes it feel bigger than some 2 bedrooms out there.
