Apartments are nice, but management seems to prefer changing tenants

The apartments themselves are pretty nice, although slightly overpriced considering that it is not a gated community.
The fitness center is decent, but things tend to break down and not get repaired for months.
The worst part is that a new tenant will get a better deal on the apartment than someone renewing their lease. Siz months ago, I was able to renew my lease for $200 less than what I was quoted because a friend who was looking for an apartment got quoted a lower rate, and I renewed the same weekend to avail of the "weekend special". The management could have informed me instead. Now I am being quoted a price which is higher than a "move-in special"... doesn't make sense at all!
