Please note that I am not a resident of Twin Pines Manor, so my review is based on: (1)the exterior of the complex and (2) my conversation with a resident.

I was in Sunnyvale for several days looking for an apartment (especially one with an air conditioner), so I stopped by the dump called Twin Pines Manor. First, the positives: the complex is in a great location- good neighborhood, stores nearby, and close to El Camino Real. Unfortunately, thats about it. For $850 a month (current price for a STUDIO!), you get the opportunity to live in a poorly maintained "motel" style complex. The pool is disgusting, their was no management around (what do you do if you have a problem'), and the buildings are falling apart. If there ever was a major earthquake, I guarantee the building will be destroyed in seconds. The balonies seemed plaged by termites. Based on exterior, the rooms are PROBABLY dirty and poorly maintained. I spoke with a resident (who appeared to be an honest person), and she told me that the building is currently infested by COCKROACHES!!!!!!!

I really hope I gave an acurate depiction of this horrible place. I RECOMMEND THAT YOU SHOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE LIVING HERE. If you don't mind paying $850/month for a building that is falling apart and a room filled with cockroaches, then twin pines may be the ideal place for you.

hi, i don't live in this apartment but was about to shift there then i read all the review's and not only about this perticular apartment but almost all the apartment in sunnyvale, santa clara etc.....you guy always tell everything bad about an apartment but no one talks about the place where one can live. WHY, is it because every apartment in bay area is hell.......i mean guys i just dont understand.....what is it with you guy's i agree that its not a perfect apartment, no apartment can be a perfect one but is it right to take out your frustration just coz you experienced a few problem do you know how much difficult it is for a person who is new to this place to choose an apartment and all this coz they read your views first.i did the same.....for every apartment i saw, and guess what after reading all the reviews now i think that in Bay area every apartment is bad and may be you guys now live in a place called "HEAVEN"you guys only know that but guess dont want to share it with others.... a request to you all please suggest the name of apartment which you think is a better palce to live. Thanks.
