Villa Camino - a terrible place to live

I have lived in Villa Camino for 2 years as my child wanted to study in Stocklmeir school. I have to say this is an awful place to live, here are my points:

1. The only good thing to live here is that it is near to Stocklmeir school. This is why I chosed it and lived there for 2 years, as my daughter loves this school and wants to study there until she went to middle school.

2. The apartment walls and floors are as thin as paper, so that you can hear your neighters' conversation and TV very clearly.

3. If you happen to live in the 2nd floor, you will find the noise is even louder than airport. Whenever your downstair neighbor turns on the fan in his/her bathroom, you can feel your floor is shaking, and you cannot escape from the terrible noise in any of your rooms. The worst case is your downstair neighbor turns the fan in midnight and early morning frequently and continously, just as my downstair neighbors. My downstair neighbor is a family of 5 people. They turned on the fan at least 5 times every night from 11:00pm to 5:00am, and continously turned on the fan from 6:30am to 9:30 every moring. No one can sleep well in such an environment.

4. The air-conditioner machines of the 1st floor and 2nd floor are both put on the roof. If any of the 2 air-conditioners are turned on, the 2nd floor residents have to suffer terrible noise as loud as a plane taking off. When I lived there, my downstair neighbor turned on their air conditioner almost everyday and night from June to September.

5. Even if you live in the 1st floor, you are not luck enough. The noise from your ceiling, which is your upstairs neighbor's floor, will drive you crazy. Whenever anyone in the 2st moves, no matter how he/she moves carefully and gently, the 1st can hear the terrile squeaks.

6. The manager, an untruthful old woman, is very unprofessional even rude sometime. She never help to solve any of the problems but pick your complains.

The comments are very truthful.

These comments are as false as they are badly worded. I live in a 1st floor apartment at Villa Camino. Yes, I can hear my neighbors walking around sometimes upstairs. I can hear when they open and close their sliding glass door. I cannot hear their conversations, the majority of their footsteps, their television, etc. I too have 5 people living above me. Our heating/cooling units are vented through the roof, this is correct, however, my neighbors don't know when I turn on my heat or air and I don't know when they turn on theirs. I actually hear more from my neighbor with which I share a common wall then I do from those upstairs. The management has been nothing but responsive with me. The woman who runs the front is gracious and the maintenance is excellent. My heater actually failed and I had a brand new one within 8 hours. Where my father lives, he went nearly 3 weeks with a defective heater before anyone responded. The pool is amazingly well kept (no chlorine smell or residue), purely professional job. The grounds are maintained and beautiful. At times I wander around just because its so nice to look at. You want something to bark at at Villa Camino - The parking sucks!!!
