The management here was horrendous! The place was already dirty when we moved in with little bits of seeds and dirt on the side of the walls. And there is next to no insulation, so all the money saved from rent will be blown on heating up your place. It's like sleeping outside -- the walls might as well be there for cosmetics.

The worst problem were neighbors that frequently played loud (wall penetrating bass filled sound) at 2am-4:30am on a daily basis! I've tried the usual complaints to the manager, but all she gave me was verbal reassurance (with no action to back it up) and the music kept on going. I had to fight a pitched battle just to get in 5 hours of sleep. There were times when management didn't even bother to answer my calls late night/early morning. I was so foolish to stay as long as I did because I kept falling for their empty promises of correcting the noise issue.

If she has a response to this comment and claims that I'm an "unreasonable" tenant. Just remember before you sign that one-year agreement that you will never know what good sleep if you decide to stay. Would you take that chance'

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that your 3 year residency (Dec.03-Feb.07) here has not been satisfactory. As you know I have done my best to response to your complaints. Everytime I received a phone call from you, I have gone out to see if there was any noise coming from any of your neighbours' apartment( that included noises in the living room and bedrooms ). I never heard anything and, when called you back with my findings, your response was " oh, they just stopped talking, playing music, etc.". Regardless of what time I talked to you, whether it was 3 am or 10 pm there was never any noise. I asked you, if I can come into your unit one evening to understand what you mean. I investigated the situation, asking other residents in your building if they had any similar problems. They did not. I have always checked on the neigbours in the evening. The residents who lived downstairs before the ones you are complaining about, have also bothered you with the tv, and the residents before those residents, bothered you with talking. I offered you to relocate to another unit and you did not accept it and moved-out. I am finding out about the heat problem for the first time ( from any of my residents ). Maybe the fact the your mattress was on the floor had something do to with it. Not sure. As far as 1 year leases, I do not make anybody sign 1 year leases. You have been on month-to-month agreement for past two years until you moved. I appologise for the incoveniences and I believe I have done my best to try to make your complaints reasonable. That's funny. I think when the walls shake, sleeping on the floor or ground makes very little difference on the noise issue. Also, the neighbors could hear me get up and turn down the volume and then pump it up again in the middle of the night again. You could have moved me, but you didn't because your greedy apartment owner wanted to squeeze more money out of other people. The reason I stayed month to month was because I actually believed you when you said you would have done something about the noise. But I stupid enough to listen to your lies. Everybody listen up, she isn't even admitting to what happen. She will do the same with you. She will blame you for all of the legitimate issues you have with the place. This place rents out the to a bunch of young druggies. If you're a professional and looking for quiet place to rest after work, this is not it.
