You don't want to live here for multiple reasons! kids, parking, noise....

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2009
We moved in the summer of 2007 and the place seemed pretty nice at first; except for the parking situation--it's been bad from day 1.
We quickly learned there is a group of very rowdy children; and the group has been growing ever since. They play in the parking lot, throw balls around the cars, and they skateboard on the sidewalk--not moving for adults, even if you have groceries in your hands.
On top of the noisy children; management brings in leaf blowers 2 times a week; some weeks, 3 times. The guys walk around the property in groups of 2 or 3, all blowing the same little leaf pile. once we saw them blow up into the trees so all the leaves would fall--I guess this is job security. It's so loud, it is hard to talk on the telephone, even with the windows shut.
The leaf blowers come rain or shine, every single week; but yet, the jacuzzi has been broken since we moved in, almost 2 years now. Three jets total work, so if a couple people beat you in, there's no jets that work available for you to sit by.
The pool area was recently closed for several months to supposedly get new plumbing. We got excited thinking at least the jacuzzi will be fixed if they ever finish; but, alas, when the pool area re-opened, now only 2 jets in the jacuzzi work! go figure.....and yes, we did complain for the first few months we lived here, along with a few other neighbors, but, still the jacuzzi was never fixed, so we gave up....I would not consider the jacuzzi an "amenity" if you choose to move in here.....
The latest "kicker" is that one of the ladies that works in the management office moved into our building a couple months ago. They are several units down on the end, across from the mgt. office. We can't tell how many people live there, as people come in & out just about 24/7.
They play their boom box regularly on their balcony for all tenants to "enjoy". Two days ago, on Easter Sunday, a day of relaxation with your family & friends, we got to hear rap music for approx. 5 hours in the afternoon. Yes, I could hear it in my house 4 apartments away (with windows shut)! I guess we should be thankful they turned it off that night....
There is a young guy that sits on their patio and spits "hockers" off the balcony; my friend almost got hit last week as he walked to my place.
They also have someone who drives a very large tow truck that "visits" almost every day. he backs in the truck into the parking lot, blocking in at least 4 parking spaces in a row, on both sides. sometimes he leaves it running (very, very noisy) and stays 5-10 minutes; sometimes he turns it off and stays 15-30 minutes....my same friend was blocked in for 20 minutes 2 weeks ago. And, the tow truck driver speeds out of the parking lot like a bat out of hell...
It doesn't get much more blatant than when your own property management employee shows this kind of disregard for the rent paying tenants that help pay your salary!
Obviously we won't be renewing our lease this next time. I'd think very carefully before paying the high dollar rents here and getting this kind of disrespect!
