The neighborhood is nice and quiet. But sometimes it gets very noisy because of airplanes that are landing on Moffet field.
The facilities are quite old. The heated pool is heated only during the summer.
Very reluctant management. If they want you to sign a lease they promise a lot then ignore your requests. We agreed that they will fix old screen door if we stay and despite our several written reminders they did nothing.
We had a rat running through our apartment during the night. We told about rats to a guy from management, and he answered: You have a cat. Let your cat takes care about rats . In a month since the rat appeared, it broke dishwasher pipes. Then it took them a week to fix the dishwasher and another week to call an exterminator who installed several traps which did not help. Finally I had to find holes in the kitchen and close them myself. Several times I saw cockroaches coming to our kitchen through air ventilation pipe.
We stayed there because of a reasonable price but the current pricing is ridiculous. You can find a place which is much better for the same money.

Call the health department !!! Turn in those scum lords who run it: Zukin Properties. I lived there in 1990-1993....the place was a bit nicer then, but obviously they are out for a buck. Let's see how much the buck means to them when they are fined or better: condemned as an unfit place to inhabit. You have rights was tenants...and the state will look into health complaints such as rats and cockroaches. That's appalling. Good luck to you, my friend.
