Just Visiting...

I have toured almost all of the Temecula apartments, and when I went to this particular one, it was not the best experience. First, it is located directly behind a car dealership, which would be noisy, to say the least. Second, the pet policy is ridiculous; you have to pay both a non-refundable and refundable deposit, as well as a hefty monthly pet rent. The office agent seemed put-off by my request to see an apartment, and would almost not let me tour the facilites because she "needed to leave soon".
The "ready for move-in" apartment they showed me first smelled TERRIBLE, like rotten dish rags. It was truly dark and depressing. The upgraded ones are not so bad, in fact, the one bedroom rennovated apartment was quite nice. I also went back after hours to get a better feel for the place, and found that the back gate is always open, just as it is in the daytime. So what is the point of gating a community if anyone can get in at any time' Generally, I would not feel comfortable living here; I just got the impression that neither I nor my vehicle would be 100% safe, night or day.
