Management is an awful experience

The only good things are the free car wash, and the location. We loved the apartment when we first saw it, but management made moving out an awful experience. The refundable security deposit it seems is not so refundable. Because we had furniture AGAINST THE WALLS they will have to repaint the entire apartment, even if the marks on the wall are as small as a dime, or wash off. Maybe they need to be upfront about a cleaning deposit. The woman there made a point of making me feel ripped off. Things remain broken forever, like the toilets, which were "fixed" 5 times. I finally gave up and just left the lid off. The air conditioner didnt work. The baseboards are broken, chipped, and all sorts of colors, and I recommend writing that down on your move in inspection or they will charge YOU to fix it. They will nitpick every discrepancy to charge you for when you move out. There was mold in the walls and in the closets. One mother told me the mold got so bad inside the walls in her apartment that her family had to take legal action. Management would do nothing about it. Parking can be a joke. There are wasp and bees nests everywhere. Tenants dig thru the dumpsters. Cops are a regular visitor to the complex. Porch lights are hardly working. There are kids shooting slingshots at cars in the parking lots. I was impressed at first, but was really dissapointed when management pocketed my "security deposit" so they could fix up the apartment at my expense. I would not recommend this complex to anyone unless you enjoy being taken advantage of.
