my experience at margarita summitt STARTED OUT pretty good, diane was pretty thorough (aside from her conveniantly forgetting to mention the ista trash, sewage bill .. ugh!). as it turned out she was pretty rude, and generally unproffesional. as for the apartment itself - it was enormous, very spacious ! open kitchen with a fireplace and good size balcony. the master bedroom was really big and mine was at the back of the apartment with a lot of trees behind me, stayed nice and cool in my room pretty much all the time. PLUSS i loved the idea of walking up the stairs to ONLY MY doorway entrance .. almost like we had both a porch and balcony. the area is pretty much a family environment, a lot of kids, and pretty quiet at night. my biggest complaint is that the parking was ridiculous. i was working a late evening job at the time and 99% of the time had to park out on the street (margarita) and walk all the way to my car in the dark. the maintenance guy was pretty good at taking care of us, although we had to page him 6 or 7 times before he responded, he ended up coming eventually. throughout the 6 months we had our lease - our porch light went out, our stove stopped working, and one of our toilets broke. ugh, & i hate to sound like a broken record, but the deposit was ridiculous !! i ended up having to pay THEM money (300$ ) - when we slaved cleaning that apartment, rented a carpet cleaner, etc. overall, i probably would not reccommend this place to anyone i know because although the layout was nice - they ultimately rip you off & leave a bad taste in your mouth.
