I have lived in this apartment complex for almost a year now, and have had so many problems with the management and the handy men, that the work never gets done in my apartment. The staff here at Somerset do not do their jobs. The trash is constantly over flowing from the trash bins, and there is a constant rodent problem, wether it be oposums, or skunks. Then they eventually die off in the bushes and rot. The stench is horendus. On top of the long list of reasons no one should ever move in here, I think it all has to top off with the roaches(the bug kind.) Not only are the apartments disgusting, they can never calculate our rent right, so we are in constant battles with the management on how much the rent checks should be made out for. And since Sept 1, 2003 they have uped the rent on a two bed. one bath. to 885.00 a month. The do all this research and credit checks to see if you qualify for the rent, and then they decided to change it regardless if you can afford it or not. So if any one is considering moving to these apartments I would seriously consider going for quality, and pay the extra money for a better place to live espically if you have children. Security sucks, Oh yeah probally because there is none, my car was broken into and my cd's were stolen and there is nothing I can do about it. I filed a police report but owell. And if you are looking for beautiful scenery You could always admire the beautiful gang graffiti, that has been on the walls for two weeks. And I have had to call the law several times for noise problems that the after hours management number does not handle.
