The only reason I signed a lease with Somerset was because this was my first time looking for an apartment and was sucked in because of their low price. I highly regret not looking long enough and really checking the place out.

First off, I was originally suppose to move in 11:00 am but came to find out they were not done with my apartment. They gave me the keys anyway so I could drop off the bigger furniture in my apartment, to my disgust, the whole apartment was filthy! I couldn't move my things in until about 6pm and it SUCKS moving stuff in at night. I was pregnant at the time and on top of it, I couldn't sleep in my apartment for that week because it reaked of paint fumes. Upon moving in, the frige, microwave, and stove seemed new, but the cabinets were caked on with grease. The gas man REFUSED to turn on our heater because he said the cover was painted over and the heater was able to melt the paint and blow paint fumes throughout the apartment and it was highly unsafe. We told this to maitenece and they said the gas man didn't know what he was talking about so they continued to light it with their own lighter, thus causing the fire alarm to go off because of the built up lint being burned off.

Summertime gets hot in Murrieta/Tememcula as anyone knows, so if we turn on the ac with another appliance, sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to turn the breaker on and off. Very annoying. One time, half of the electricity in the apartment wasn't working (FOR A WEEK! I had to GO to the office and ----- them out and finally maitence came) and when maitence came, all they said was that we couldn't turn both of the ac on and found out the back of the fridge's outlet was sparking. AND some of our outlets got melted by low watt appliances!

Not to mention the neighbors! Some are okay and nice, but some are just loud, crazy, or straight up crack heads.

I HATE LIVING HERE and I DREAD COMING HOME EVERYDAY..
We try to leave our apartment as much as possible. We are SO GLAD our lease is almost up. I HATE the fact that my son has to live here and try to sleep while cop helicopters fly so low and shine lights right into our windows.. Not to mention the god damn cops who come out of nowhere all the time.. even when we didn't call them.. once they even just CAME IN our apartment after knockikng only twice.. which is VERY ILLEGAL. We are a small, quiet family who pay are rent on time and don't bother anyone else and dont deserve such crappy treatment from the cops, maitence, managers, etc...

STAY AWAY!! Spend a hundred or so more for a better place!
