I just moved in at the beginning of October 2009, and believe me I really am a picky person with high standards on where I live and allow my children to live. I have avoided areas that look rundown with drug activity and crime. There is never any guarantee where you live there will be crime. Remember nothing is perfect. So on this note, I want to let you know that this Somerset Apartment Homes have received a bad rap for maybe some tenants that they had in the past. Before I even moved in some people were telling me bad things. I was a little scared cause of course I have high standards, but I also have been given discernment with my faith in God and when dealt with the management they were helpful and sincere, and when I first stepped foot in my new apartment I felt so pleased and overjoyed with how they had remodeled it. So back to the beginning, when I first looked at Somerset Apartment Homes I was worried because some parts of the complex could use some TLC. However, you have to remember this is not a new complex and yes, I do believe they had some bad tennats at one time but it looks as if with the new management and let me stress, "New Management!" the complex is getting cleaned up and rennovated and it really is a good place to live. I am a medical professional that works long hours in a hospital at night and I could live anywhere but I choose not to pay so much rent. The management was so wonderful to me, such as a man named "Eric." So, so helpful and kind. They remodeled my apartment with wood (not real wood) flooring but still gorgeous and a new large kitchen, and the bathroom is beautiful with a luxurious toilet and wood flooring. The walls are painted a caramel color which is so soothing, with new carpet in the bedrooms. It's not central air, but there are two air-conditioning units. One in the living room and one in the master room. I was here with the hot summer days and had to sleep during the day and my A/C units cooled my whole apartment, I was actually cold most of the time. I am very very pleased with my apartment and so so happy to only be paying $870.00 a month, and in beautiful Temecula. Yes, there are a few things in the complex that needs to be cleaned up but I see the staff and maintenance working hard everytime I go out of my apartment, and I believe and have confidence that they are slowly but surely working to upgrade the whole complex. There are maintenance guys on golf carts driving around all the time, hard at work on a task. As for pest (bugs) believe me almost every apartment or even home is going to have some kind of pest. I lived in Sage Canyon and they had roaches. I keep my apartment very clean. I lived in a house over in Paso Del Sol and it had spiders, and ants and flees, and I keep my house very clean, and in the house I had to spray myself and pick up the cost. Nothing is perfect. Yes, I've had some ants, but they are going to spray and they do it every Tuesday with no problems just make an appoinment. The maintenance has responded to my requests very promptly and if they can't they always let me know the length of time it will be. They do have a small maintenance team, but I believe they are working on that. Has for the complaints here about roaches, I haven't seen any roaches yet, and I don't doubt that I may see them one day, but I am confident that the management is concerned about bugs and has asked to inform them right away if there are any bug problems.It's a wonderful place to live and very affordable. I seriously wouldn't write this if I didn't sincerely mean it.

This seems like someone from Management is trying to make themselves look good. Obviously advertising "new management" "new rennovation" "low price" and all that crap that makes this person like a sales person trying to get more people to come. And you say that you moved in the beginning of October of 2009, how is that you were to use your a/c on the hot summer days when you were not even a tenant during the hot summer. Def. a bogus review. Don't fall for it.

If management didn't write this to make themselves look good, then I'll eat all the trash that lays at the bottom of my stairs every day for a week. Reading that made me want to buy some crack from my neighbor and throw up. Nice try guys. How about dedicating your time to managing this place instead of your ridiculous fictional fantasy review writing?
