I lived in "Temecula Ghetto" as i so sweetly nicknamed it from April to December of 2003. Well let me see.... paper thin walls, (EVERYTHING is audible)fixtures are older than dirt, no A/C except in the bedroom- and who wants to be confined to one room to keep cool'' and its mounted newt to the window on a wall that faces the walkway so anyone within a few feet can hear what's being said or "going" on inside. No privacy whatsoever. In the summer it gets miserably humid. The appliances are as old as the apartments themselves but wait while I lived there they did put in a new stove and vent yippee! I can live with old and outdated and even being heard and hearing other tenants discussions and what nots.I absolutely could not live with the cockroaches crawling up the walls and in my daughters bed. SICK!!!!! Nothing worked on the little bastards. They pretty much come with the aprtment. Drugs where another problem there too. Let's see my upstairs neighbors were pot smokers as where the ones a couple doors down. Then there where the tweekers next to the pot smokers(2different apts.)Anyways there was a high drug problem in the area. There was a security guard there at night but one of them was an admitted meth user. How safe and secure that makes anyone feel huh' While living there there were a few incidents of burglaries both home and auto. Not me thankfully! A few drug dealers were busted also. Well in closing let me say in my defense (because I'm sure you're wondering why the hell I'd stay there if it was so bad)that I stayed there because it was all I could afford at the time.
