Los Feliz is a GREAT place to live! - I live on Los Feliz Blvd between Vermont and Hillhurst--and almost everything is within walking distance and I run in the park and up and down LF Blvd.
I have had no problems with crime--I could not have asked for a better place in LA to live. We get nice breezes off the hills in the summer--its not too hot at all.
