Superior Service, Beautiful Grounds

Have lived here for nearly 2 months and cannot believe the high level of customer service that this place has. First, the grounds are spectacular, the landscaping beautiful with large oak trees, and plenty of plants and grassy areas. They are always maintaining the grounds with new wood chips, raking up leaves and trimming the bushes. The place is very well-lit and I feel very safe, especially at night when I take my dog out. My husband and I live in a 1 bedroom plus loft and what an amazing set-up that is. We have vaulted ceilings, a huge picture window,a beautiful tree swaying over our balcony, and wood floors. No one lives next to us, above or below, as the lofts are unique. We share only a common stairway and that's it. Talk about peace and quiet, as well as not having to worry if we are being too loud. On our initial move-in day, we were slightly delayed because they were installing new carpet, which was more than fine for me. The management office felt so bad, they bought us bagels with cream cheese for my entire family that was there to help me move, had coffee, and gave us a $25 Visa gift card for the inconvenience. They went above and beyond our expectations, and included a gift bag full of goodies in our kitchen filled with waters, snacks, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap and sponge, all the things that are necessary but hard to find in moving boxes. All our service requests have been taken care of in the same day. I wish everyone had this level of competence and customer service. It would be a better world. I love Archstone Thousand Oaks!
