Archstone Thousand Oaks is the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. All the employees are here to serve YOU, and they have YOUR best interests in mind. Even the maintenance workers stop to say hi and call me by name. The grounds are beautiful, with large trees and plenty of shade! There is plenty of parking for your guests; I have never been without a spot. There is a fitness center, conference room with a flat, big screen t.v., beautiful heated pool and spa. There is a "tanning deck" that is higher than the pool so you can lay out there without getting splashed. There are two BBQs by the pool, so you can have your family and friends over for a nice relaxing day! If you are looking for a place to live in Thousand Oaks, go here!

OK, now let me tell you MY experience at Archstone on Hodencamp... We arrived at the 'model' and had our tour, fell in love. The only first story apartment that was actually available was a handicap unit which is catered to someone who will be using a wheelchair - not a normal looking bathroom at all. It was late summer, so spiders were rampant. We had to walk in the middle of the grass to avoid webs. I do mean they were everywhere. Even in the model. There was a broken down car parked in guest parking (had webs on the tires) and there was a fist fight going on at the house one block down on Hillcrest as we drove away. Ahh what a fine day that was, when we drove back to our safe Wood Ranch neighborhood and realized what we had.
