I lived in the Biltmore for 9 months and these are my conclusions...
Pros: very well located, large apartments, nice landscaping, nice new kitchen appliances, water cost included in rent, maintenence personnel available (and efficient) the one time I needed them.
Cons: 1)SAFETY concerns... I lived in a first floor apartment that looked out onto the street. I made the mistake of keeping a window open during the night and someone tried to break in. 2) Poor VENTILATION in bathroom led to a mildow problem. The only ventilation in the bathroom took the form of small window in the shower that looked out onto the street. 3)NOISE from upstairs (footsteps, banging, toilet flushing, & arguing audible). Also noise from outside -- especially the stairs leading to 2nd floor apts. 4) BUGS frequented our apartment (mostly spiders and earwigs but also silverfish).
