I was in a temporary corporate housing assignment, furnished, so maybe these comments don't hold true for all units, but, I found the place to be rather shabby. The microwave door fell off, the kitchen sink didn't work at first (though maintenance came out to fix promptly), the bathtub faucet was cracked, etc. And yes, there were ants. And lots and lots of noise -- the walls are like paper.
