I lived at the Knolls for 10 years (1992-2002) and never had any problems. The staff was very kind and courteous to my family. Always prompt when needed. As for the pricing you get what you pay for. over the years I had always looked for price vs. value. Having lived in the two bedroom two bath second phase unit and over 1000 sq.ft. apartment. You have all the amenities of home for the best price to value in Thousand Oaks. Lots of space to move around and a true feel of home. Having looked at similar layouts in the surrounding areas, you have a much more compact space for less and you feel cramped. It was worth the few extra $ for an additional 200sq.ft. over the next competitor. Take it for what it's worth. Comfort and safety vs. value As was once said "you get what you pay for".
