La Cresta's a reasonable enough place to live, but the rent goes up twice a year and the neighbors seem to be growing increasingly noisy (I currently have an amateur flamenco dancer living nearby who likes to practice after 10 pm....)

Grounds are nice "on top of the hill" and nothing "below." If you live on a top-floor apt, someone else's air conditioner unit may start making noise that rattles thru your apt. Termites abound.

It's not the worst place I've lived, obviously, since I've been here several years. But it's been getting increasingly noisy -- c'mon, castanets at midnight' -- so I'm planning to move out soon.
