I've been living at Lynn Villa for 2 years now. After having the plumbers at my place no less than 8 times, I've given up on calling for them. It's been a series of issues- running toilets, dripping faucets, backed up sinks, etc.
I've still got to hold my toilet handle down to flush for about 30 seconds to make sure it works, my shower still drips constantly, and I don't care anymore.
I'll leave it for the next tenant to complain about.
Another problem is the noise from my neighbors. I'm on the top floor and you'd think with no one above me, that noise would not be a problem. Wrong!
My downstairs neighbors are either elephants or the building is very low quality. I hear every footstep and if any of them down there closes a closet door, it shakes my floor. Not kidding at all.
It literally shakes my floor.
The "club house" has a couple of shoddy old pool tables that would be usable if there were balls provided.
Oh, and if the manager's stuff wasn't strewn all over the entire room.
There are boxes everywhere, toys, building supplies. It's like their personal storage space. Looks trashy and unkempt.
Oh, and don't expect to get exemplary service from the manager. It may take a few phone messages to finally get a call back, if ever.
And then there are the rats. Yep, rats.
Don't go to the dumpsters past dark if you have any problem with seeing the creatures in large numbers. They have also found their way into the storage sheds in the parking garages. My poor neighbor had a ton of his belongings torn up by the crowds of rats living in there. It is disgusting.
I can tell that the management or grounds keepers have tried to get rid of the little guys by poisoning them. Whenever this happens, there will be rat carcasses littering the entire property en masse for a couple of weeks.
And the groundskeepers just leave the dead rats to rot. It is not pleasant at all.
This place needs new managemnt and a ton of upgrades if it is to be turned around and made to be more pleasant to live in.
