not a place for families with children

The positive...Larry, the apartment manager, is on top of things and keeps the place running. That's the upside to having an on-site manager. However, looks can be deceiving. Flooding can be a major problem when it comes right up to your doorstep. The aprtments are advertised as having a pool but, when I inquired about not getting a pool key, I was told that many of them have been lost. Upon looking at the pool it was filled with debris and insects. Also, the ample guest parking is extremely limited and it is often used by the residents. Moreover, the entire complex is pretty noisy. You can clearly hear your neighbors' conversations and nearly everything that goes around in the neighboring apartments. If you have good neighbors this may not be too much of a problem. One of mine was being watched by the police. This is not unheard of since the police are around the complex on a regular basis. Check out the sex offender listing, you might be surprised at what you will find. Overall, the apartments are perfect for a college student or someone who will not be spending much time at home, but definitely not a place for children.
