Large square footage, nice location, old buildings

This apartment complex was acquired by the Prometheus Real Estate Group in November 2007. The previous owner provided some luxurious services for free to tenants (e.g. free laundry, free satellite TV) incomparable by other properties in the same area. The new owner took away those luxuries, which made some tenants quite unhappy, and considerably increased the cost of renting and services. With all the changes taking place, now this older property (around 40 years old) may be losing competitive advantage, and becoming less appealing than other newer apartments in a very competitive rental market. However, the location of the property is still good, and the square footage of the units is still one of the largest among all apartments. As a tenant living a long time, I decided to leave and was able to found a place I like better within a short period. However, depending on your preferences, this place might still be something you can consider.
