I have been a long-time resident, and seen the recent purchase by Promotheus.
Here are the 'improvements' they have made:
Increased rent 7 %
Took away free laundry room (if you already live here, you CANNOT get units in your room, only new lessees). This is contrary to what other reviewer stated.
Started charging for water and trash in April (about $75/mo).
And the water we are now paying for has been shut off on two occasions in the last ten days.
Quality of tenants had rapidly decreased (even with rent increase). Go figure.
Fellow tenants play loud music, bang on walls, and leave trash outside their unit.
This complex has been around for 40-50 years, hence the infrastructure problems.
