Haven't done an apartment rating before, but this place is just awful. For starters, the leasing office staff think way too highly of themselves because the Cove is in Tiburon and on the water. They're either rude or they ignore you. Move in was a nightmare because once they got my move in check, they stopped following up with me or answering my questions. The buildings are falling apart. My ceiling is starting to sag and cave in a few places. Again, leasing office is unresponsive. Dog droppings everywhere and dogs are barking all day!! Office allows breeds that are on their breed restriction list and dogs are off leash everywhere!! Outdoor cats on the property that leave droppings on my deck constantly (even though they say they don't allow outdoor cats). Leasing office staff won't be bothered with any of this. No apartment complex is going to be perfect, but for over $1500 a month I expect better than this. There are better complexes in Corte Madera, Larkspur and San Rafael. I'm moving as soon as my lease is up.

This is a very surprising review. I have lived at the cove for 7 years and, like the other residents posting here, this does not reflect reality. The people who work here are extremely friendly and so are the residents. Also, the dog owners are also very respectful. The one time in 7 years we had a dog barking problem was when some nurses left the dog alone while they worked the night shift. All it took was one friendly comment to the owners and they immediately made arrangements to have the dog cared for at night so as not to bother the neighbors. Really off the wall comments here - just come and see it for yourself - a private marina, three pools, hot tubs a gym and spectacular views. I am sorry this person did not have a great experience, but that has not been the experience for myself or my husband and baby for the last seven years.
