My friend who manages properties told me about a neg review on this site. She knows I love it here so here I am defending my home, and yes, the Cove is my home. I've rented here for nine years, coming here at first because it was the only place in southern Marin that would take my lab mix. I've rented in Sausalito and MV and didn't think I'd like living in a managed place like this. In just days I learned how wrong I was: I love it here. I took a 1 BR with a million dollar view over the marina to Mt. Tam. Three years ago I switched into a big 2 BR, two-storey townhome. I could buy a house here, but why bother when I can rent here. For what you get it's cheap, it's easy, I have pools and jacuzzis and a marina to enjoy, landscaping is great, the location is great, it's beautiful, the service is great and as a single woman I have never felt so safe. My neighbors are quality people like me; I've made great friends here. BTW, you can reach the mgmt via email, direct voicemail or by walking into the office so this guy is wrong about the staff; they are quick to respond to requests. And the "cat" problem is probably from a great blue heron or pelican landing on his deck; they use the decks railings as perches sometimes when they fish in the water here. If he's unhappy, he should walk into the office. Jack, Andrea, Rick, John, Victor, Pedro and the new guy (Mark' Matt') will take care of him.
