We lived there for several years and the office staff were inadequate. They were only interested in showing units to prospective buyers. Once you are in, the customer service goes down the drain.
Noise and vandalism in the pool area after hours was a constant problem. During the warm months, there was alcohol, bad language and trash in the pool area EVERY night.
The office said it was up to security to handle it. Security told us they were not under contract to be there after hours to handle noise issues. They said call the sheriff. The sheriff said it was the security company's issue. What a run around!
Build quality was bad. There were always plumbing problems and the windows didn't fit the frames. They didn't lock and there were large gaps between the glass panels causing very high heating and cooling bills. The "security" gates were often broken and car and garage theft were also issues.
Pet waste was a huge problem. My children couldn't play in the playground or walk the grass areas without stepping in something.
In closing, Trabuco Highland Apartments are very mediocre, but charge a luxury price.
