I have lived here for a couple of years now, and I don't have any big complaints. Overall it is a pleasant place to live. The appliances are kind of old, so our dishwasher doesn't work very well. Our rent is about $790 for 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I have my own room and my roommates share the master bedroom (two people sharing that room is definitely doable though there isn't a huge amount of space). They just replaced our balcony recently and now it is very sturdy and nice. The place was clean when we came in and there's not a lot of noise issues. The dining room area is larger than in other apartments I've seen. There is lots of cabinet space in the kitchen. Parking is no problem. There's a lot of nice grassy areas in the complex and the pool is fun to swim in in the summer. The office sends out nice newsletters every couple of months. There is space for a stackable washer and dryer in the apartment we're in. The people in the office are usually nice, but they are never there! They take 3 hour lunch breaks and are closed on the weekends, which makes it very difficult to pick up packages if you have a job or are at school during the day.
Oh yeah, that's the nicest thing about this place - very close to the school! It's on the other side of Geer Rd. I ride my bike to school and it only takes about 5-10 minutes.
The neighbors are alright - there are a few families with kids that you can hear playing outside in the early afternoons. The only problematic people are this group of older men who like to hang out on the grass outside the mailboxes and stare at anyone who walks by. But they seem mostly harmless so I ignore them.
Maintenance was very nice and helpful and always came right away when there was a problem.
I did a lot of research on places near the school in Turlock before I chose this place, and this one was definitely the best deal for what you get.
