We lived at Oak Park for almost 4 years. We loved living there and if wasn't for a job transfer we would definately still be living there.
There were some bads things that have happened on the property (break-ins, cars broken into, cars stolen) but most of it was because of stupid people. You can not leave things visible in your car (like ipods, laptops, cell phones), come on people how stupid do you have to be. Also people leave their windows open all the time. Yeah do not get me wrong, I love the sunshine and nice breeze to but I do not leave my blinds open for anyone to walk by and check out what I have in my house.
The floor plans are awesome here. There is so much space. We were in a 2x2 and let me tell you I miss those walk-in closets.
I would definately recommend these apartments to anyone. If we have a chance to move back to the area, we will definately apply to move back in (if we don't buy a house).
Everyone was so helpful and were always there to fix any issues that we had in our apartment. Val is an awesome maintenance man.
Don't be scared of what some people have written on here, it really isn't as bad as they say.
