Crookside/Brookside Village From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/28/2008 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008   This is one of the worst places I have lived in. The staff lies to you constantly. The pictures of the complex on their website are only of the grounds that are around the office and they have to keep that part nice for the next sucker. The section I lived in was so nasty I was embarrassed to have company because the staff never cleaned the grounds or parking lots where I lived. The rent is extremely outrageous for the condition the apt and grounds were in. I had the 2 bd 2 bath and they wanted me to pay almost 1800.00 a month before I moved out in March 08. I found a 4 bd 2.5 bath for 2000.00 and it is in such a better place than Crookside Meadows is. If you want a nice place to live at a good price DO NOT GO TO THIS COMPLEX. They even sent me to collections just 6 weeks after we moved for $31.90, they didnt even give me time to send them the damn check after they sent me the bill. What a waste of 3 years of rent I paid at that place. Never had a working A/C in the place and they made me pay 30.00 more a month for a fridge that didn't even have the right shelving in it.
