I have lived Here for 2 years from 2006-2008 and have loved it. But I am going to be moving out this month to live closer to work but I thought I would write a review first. We got the 2 bedroom 2.5 bath floor plan which is I believe is called the Wentworth and is the largest floor plan they have. We got he first month free so that was cool for a luxury apartment like this to offer that but the rent for us was $2,095. Pretty pricey but the area is great. You are by everything, Chevron, Target, Starbucks ... this a great area to live with every major restaurant and store within a mile.
We were lucky to have a nice spot in the complex that had us next to the golf course view. I like the hardwood floors, matching stainless appliances, mirror closets and crown moldings. They allow you to paint the walls. The patios are more spacious than any other apartments I've seen. Parking is not really an issue here. Your guest can always find parking spots. The design of the complex is great, it feels very spacious. They have a trail walk around the whole complex usually used by dog owners.
It's a very quiet place to live I have never had or heard any crime issues in these apartments. Never heard of a car getting broken into. The complex is well lit with the new exterior light posts they installed. They are currently working on the landscaping as I write this. They have been really updating the exterior of the complex to make it look nicer and have recently painted the exterior of the apartments. But whoever chose the new paint colors should be slapped. They could have really made these townhomes one of the best in Southern California but ruined it with the choice of paint colors. It sucks, management if your reading this... it sucks big time.
I feel even worse for the people who live at Country Club Terrace. It's the apartments across from us that is owned by the same company. They got a new paint job too and it is 3 times worse. They must have painted it like 10 different colors. The person who owns these apartments I think chose the colors and he should be slapped again. What were you guys thinking. These apartments are next to the new Colonies Homes and instead of blending with the community we stand out.
The office staff are awesome and look professional with the uniforms they wear. Maintenance requests is good. Internet through Consolidated Smart Systems is not consistent in internet speed. Sometimes it works good other times not. You get 2 trash barrels that you take out for Thursday pickup. You get an address like a house number with no apartment number. The kitchen cupboards should be updated. A/C works great downstairs but could be better upstairs.
These apartments is as good as it gets. Thank you Country Club Villas for making my stay here awesome.

Woohoo! Someone else who agrees about the horrid paint job and CSS lame internet service! Verizon DSL works great though. ;)
