Quiet place, but be sure everything is done before you sign the lease

I recently moved in - took me almost a week to get an air conditioner that works (the temperature was more than 90 degrees outside). It took more than 2 weeks to get a mailbox key -- and they want me to go to the post office, pay the $50 and deduct it from my rent -- no pay for my time at the post office.

Of course this tenant fails to mention the fact that we had to get the contractor in to replace the air conditioner, the mail key was never returned by the previous tenant and with a new tenant it is ILLEGAL to touch the mailbox lock of a tenant. The management went out of its way to assist and please this tenant by spending time to help replace the mail lock and coordinating the installation of a brand new air conditinoing unit. Things are NEVER done in the preferred timeline and this review is proof that sometimes there is NO pleasing certain types of people.

Like I said in the original posting - It is a nice place, just be sure everything is complete before you sign the lease, check the air conditioning to ensure it works, ask if the mailbox key is available, etc. The mailbox key could have been replaced by the manager prior to a tenant taking ownership of the place. The original review was posted prior to the manager taking time to help replace the mailbox lock (which was much appreciated). The preferred timeline is, for me as a tenant, before a tenant moves in...
