I've lived here about a year, and the place is fine. (And better than some other places that I've lived in Upland.)
Pros:
* The manager and the maintenance guy are both very nice and very willing to work with you.
* My apartment is nice enough and pretty big for the price I'm paying.
* Ample parking
* Very quiet -- I almost never hear my neighbors.
* Nice location - not too far from freeways, walking to the Stater Bros is nice, etc.
* Water pressure is fine -- maybe it's because I live on the "new" side' But I've never had a problem with it.
Neutral:
* I live right next to the field and the pool. I do hear some cheering from the field, especially on weekday evenings and occasional Saturday mornings, but I don't think it's that bad. I turn on a fan if I'm trying to sleep and it drowns it right out. As for living by the pool, occasionally I'll hear kids playing there in the afternoons, but again it's not that loud, and it's pretty infrequent.
* It is not the nicest looking place, but it's adequate, and worth it for the price.
Cons:
* The laundry machines are old and break down with some frequency.
* There were some break-ins a few months ago, but the response from the management and the PD seemed adequate (and it wasn't just our complex -- it was a lot of places in Upland.)
