I have lived at The Commons for a while now, and I have no idea what everyone is complaining about! The people who work in the office are always so nice, and quick to help if I ever have any questions. They even let me use their fax machine once when the fax wasn't working in the computer room. The maintenance guys are also great! My fridge wasn't keeping things cold, and they came over right away and fixed it. They told me that I overload my freezer with food, which made it freeze up and shut down my fridge. Now, I have lived at a bunch of different apartments over the years, and no one has ever taken the time to explain to me why something wasn't working. At least now I can make sure there is no error on my part anymore.
The property itself is really nicely maintained, and on the rare chance that I have found dog poop on the grass, I called the office and they took care of it right away. (My friend lives at a place in Vacaville that allows big dogs, and there is poop all over the place! You can smell it on a hot day when you walk outside. Disgusting!)
The buildings are also really well built. I live on the first floor, which I've never done before, because I've always worried about hearing the people that live above me, but this place is so well built that I've never had a problem. I know the family upstairs has small kids, but suprisingly, I've never been woken up early on a Saturday morning by running and screaming.
Sure, every place has it's downfalls (The parking sometimes gets a little crazy later on at night) but The Commons is really a great place to live. I've suggested a couple of friends of mine to check it out here, and one of my friends rented a place, so I got $300 off my rent the next month. YOu can't complain about that!
