When I first decided to rent a place from here, I picked out a diagram/apartment I liked. I was shown the model apartment and it looked like exactly what I wanted. But when it came time to move in to the actual apartment, the rooms looked smaller. I took some measurments and it turns out the rooms were a foot short. (example: the paper said the rooms were 10x10 and 11x11, but they turned out to be 9x9 and 10x10) Am I screwed'

Life sucks sometimes, buddy. But, if your biggest problem is your bedroom being a square foot smaller than you thought, then I envy you. Most people have real problems to whine about and post on these internet sites. Ask for help when you use a tape measure next time.

My apartment is the exact size that was advertized... It's really not that difficult to use a tape measure, Genius. Why is it that in all of these reveiws, if ANYONE writes something positive, or isn't claiming they hate where they live, it must be Management? Not everyone is a pessimist who can't use a tape measure correctly... Why would some apartments be the right size that is advertized, and others be different? I've never heard of a building company making something that's supposed to be identical in many different sizes. It kind of defeats the purpose of making something identical... right?

Wow, you managment types are really angry, and so quick to get away from the answer. I chose to come here to look for an easy answer, but because it is becoming even more of a problem after asking managment myself and being denied an answer. I'll just seek answers through fair housing and various lawyers.
