I'm very happy here. It's quiet and peaceful. The neighbors are very pleasant. Sounds like an add huh' It's not. I have lived many places and this is one of the best i have ever come across. I looked at Hmm... 15 apartments before moving here. The reason i choose this place is because:
1- Price - Far more flexible than most others.
2- Personal contacts - Knew people who lived here before. The managment changed after i got here, it's a good thing. New management is very pleasant. Remember you maybe shopping for a new place, if you don't treat them well, 1st opinion can be everything. Note: I have seen them leave the office for lunch or to shop the property they are normally back in 15mins or so, be paticient
3- Location - Close to shopping, Resterants, & Freeway.
4- Parking - I never had a problem finding one.
5- Accessibility to facilities - You can get into the gym really early (5am) and late (10pm) Same with pool 10 to 10.
6- Service - The service used to have a bad group when my friends lived here now it has improved majorly and they are really nice guys.
7- Pets - They allow pets up to 35 lbs. No restrictions. Puppies that grow into large dogs don't count as small dogs. So, It's great. The doggie bags are filled once every sunday.
8- Safe- They have security at nights and you can call if there is something suspicious.

Alot of people have complained, i see. Even people who were here out of contract and should be disregarded or other didn't actually live here. Others just don't appreciate the size and upkeep. Keep in mind emergencies have first priority and there is an order even to maintaine then property. Older complexes just don't compete in size (no real space inside), service (at managements convienence), neighbors (don't respect noise limit times) , or pets ( Won't allow pets).

I do not think it should be taken care of "RIGHT" now. My mother was an apartment manager for ten years of my life, I understand that they have other work orders to take care of. However, I do not believe that there is any excuse for not replacing lights throughout the property for two weeks. I have to walk my dog at night, and it is a safety issue to walk him in the dark when they should have the lights working! Another thing, if they want me to pick up after my dog then they can provide the bags. You would be the first person to complain if you walked in the grass and stepped in something!! I pay them monthly for my dog they can at least fill the bags since we pay for them! We are lucky to have any security? They never even told us that we did! A neighbor informed me of it. One of the dogs is a help dog, but that does not excuse the others by any LAW. The service might be "nice", but we were never even informed that we had a new manager. When I have to go into the office she doesn't make any effort to get to know myself or my husband.

Anonymous- I'm glad you aren't the only one talking about the new manager who could care less about the residents! The Commons is going so down hill, it's pathetic!
