happy that i talked to 3 random people before renting

We checked out the 1/1 apt and loved all the ammentities and space plan however I spoke with 3 random people and all 3 spoke of maintenance being slow (3-4 months to get something fixed), having cockroaches (mngmnt not willing to spray and denying there is even a problem), no access to parking especially if there is a 2nd person that needs a parking space and if you live at the front of the complex (facing allison) the road is so noisy you can't even open your windows.
All 3 people said that they wouldn't live here and am looking fwd to moving out. All 3 people recommended me to not live here. Lesson learned: talk to the neighbors 1st!
