Okay, so after giving these people my money for a deposit, being presented with an apartment you would find in the ghetto of Oakland, having the manager tell me I show no appreciation, having the manager decline fixing multiple problems with the unit on my move in date (apartment was in horrible condition), still the head ache continues. Because I requested (very politely) to have the units carpet replace, (bleach stains all over the carpet with juice stains in all the rooms), clean up the paint that was dripping on the fireplace, and replace the 10 year old tile in the kitchen that was cracked, dirty, etc. I was declined the opportunity to ever live in this complex. After all of this is over, I call and request the owners number or anyones number that might be helpful with this situation. When I call, a staff member answers and I request the number. She directs me to the manager and I told her I really do not feel comfortable talking to the manager. I am told no one is allowed to give the owners or higher ups number to customers/residents unless it comes straight from the manager. So I accept this stupid regulation and talk to the manger. So after having to request the number MULTIPLE times from her, she gives me a pager number to call. I have paged this number about 10 times so far and I have not received a return phone call. Why does it feel this place has no morals and no customer relation skills what so ever.

Everything My friend here said is so true, they really scrwed him over. I walked the apartment with him when they were doing the floors. the place was nasty. chipped counters, stained carpet and I mean really stained. Paint splatter all over the place. 1195 a month for something that looked like they should pay you hazard pay to even be in the place. I would never suggest even talking to those people.

3 rapes not one, a fact they didnt mention when I moved in here either and the last one happened 10 ft from mine. Im sorry you got screwed also.

Try filing a complaint with this place. I called today to file a formal complaint with the owner of this complex. When I requested a number to contact them, I was directed to the same manager who gave me all the problems to begin with. I asked for the number and she was very reluctant to give it to me. She told me she would just have them call me. After I insisted on having the number for myself so I can have it on file, she gave me a pager number. I sent a page and never got a response. Hmmm, sounds like someone has something to hide.

i was the assistant manager along time ago it did not go down hill until the previous managers retired.this is a shame because the complex used to be very nice.From what I am reading sounds like its gone to hell.Name of the owners is Vandenbergh Properties in Pleasanton if that helps.
