I lived here over the course of my life twice. Once as a teenager, and let me assure you that the apartments were very nice then and the manager rode around in a golf buggy to ensure the residents safety. Nice old man. Well I moved back to Vacaville in 2003 and moved here again. I had good experiences here as a teenager. Oh where do I start. My neighbor played loud music all the time. I called the office three times and still they played their music. My garbage disposal was broke and the maintanance man gave me a little wrench so that I could fix it myself. My air conditioner broke down in mid July 2006 and my son and I went without air for 2 weeks. IN VACAVILLE, IN 100 DEGREES. I kept calling the office and they would send one Meth Head after another. Finally one of the "Maintenance" (using that term loosely) said it needed to be replaced. I called the office everyday and everyday I got some kind of excuse or got put on hold. Finally I contacted KOVR 13 Call Curtis. He sent me some literature on my rights as a tenant and that really helped. What pushed me to take such drastic measures is that when I talked to the manager, she told me that new air conditioners take time to get and there are new laws and procedures we have to go through to get one. They fixed it 2 weeks later. I moved October 2006 to the Sycamores and I love it here. Smaller apartments, but great staff, they even replace your lightbulbs, and it is gated. I would never go back to River Run. Id rather live in the projects. They really let anyone get an apartment there.

i had the same problem with my A/C. they take their time by fixing your A/C but if you take your time about paying your rent they want to raise hell.

I agree. We live in the GETTO! But cheap until something else comes better then HELL!
