Blue Rock was an enjoyable place to live, until I had to move out. The staff was friendly and courteous, but once I put in my notice it was a different ballgame. I was assessed fees that they "Charge everyone for". I cleaned the carpets myself, but was still charged a fee of $105 because they "clean the carpet no matter what". This is exactly what they told me over the phone...no joke. I would never reccomend Blue Rock, or any other BRE community to anyone!!!!

Everyone living here who is unhappy with the management & BRE should take pictures of the buildings, leaking gutters, water puddles in front of their front doors, garbage piled out on the decks of occupants, demand that each unit be metered seperately for water, inquire why we are paying water, sewage,and trash on a monthly basis? Why multi bbq pits are permitted on decks (size) not monitored. Smoke fills your apartment with fumes & smoke! no escaping it because there is litte to no ventilation in the apartments. If you have breathing problems, asthma, use caution when moving here. Besides that all the reviews seem to be accurate and on point. One more thing I might add is the problem with roachs, rodents.

they took my entire deposit even after i had a cleaning lady come in a do my apartment and shampooed my carpets. call the better bussiness bureau and fill out an application online if you encounter they don't return your deposit without good reasonn Scamming your deposit money is screwed up especially when you look forward to it.

I have been a resident at blue rock village for appx 5 years. The only reason I still stay here is because of my credit history. they tried to take us to court to evict us but because customer service didnt follow proper procedure we won. tell me why does my credit report state an eviction and i still live there. the reps suck and i hate it, but i dont know what else to do. They overcharge you and then find every excuse in the book to charge you more. I have neighbors that feel the same. Dont rent at Blue Rock Village apartments in Vallejo, CA. Looks can be deceiving! (Decent apt on the outside, but staff psycho)ZERO STARS

I have been a resident for a year and previously my car had blue grifitti and management ignored my calls and police report. Management harassed me for being only 5 days late and told me "to borrow it from a relative" - which my check came in a few days later and I paid the $30 late fee. Also, they charged me $130 a month for water and garbage. This was ridiculous because that was the amount I was paying in a home I previously owned, but that water invoice was for every 60 days. God bless them and I hope that one day these ridiculous charges will be investigated. So far I expect to them to keep my deposit as well.
