I've lived here for just over a month. The units are older (built in the '80s) but are reasonably well maintained. There was a SNAFU over my initial rent, I underpaid by $280 but the management said not to worry about it as it was an honest mixup and gave me until the middle of the month to catch up with no penalties.

We have had several maintenance issues which I'll outline below:

1) Loose electrical outlets - resolved within 48 hours
2) Poor weatherstripping on patio door - resolved within 24 hours
3) Stairway was in need of repair - resolved within 72 hours by COMPLETELY replacing the stairs down to the concrete supports.
4) Stove not working correctly - resolved within 12 hours
5) Requested a digital thermostat - resolved same day I made the request

The management staff has been nothing short of amazing, very accommodating of a high maintenance tenant (me). I used to own my own house and as such I tend to notice small details quickly. It's nice knowing that if I leave a message or call them directly it will be resolved as quickly as possible.

Our unit is surrounded by shade trees and you can't even tell you're living in an apartment complex thanks to the landscaping. It's extremely quiet and I have had NO problems with car break-ins or anything of the sort.

In fact, the rear window in my BMW X5 was broken, stuck rolled down and I have an iPod and a lot of camera gear in the back and it wasn't even touched. My neighbors are all friendly and quiet.

In all, while they are older and showing signs of age, it is a quality place to live and the cost is extremely reasonable.

My only gripe is the lack of dual pane windows, it would help during the hot Vallejo days and cold nights. Management says that an upgrade is being planned and budgeted for, and that would be nice!

But all in all, this is a great place to live.
