Gangs, prostitutes, drug sales

If you like gangs, prostitution, car break ins, drug sales right down the hall by your friendly next door neighbor, San Regis Apartments is for you! Almost every Friday and Saturday night, they're all out there. You hardly have to blink your eyes. Pimps and prostitutes in plain sight. Of course, there are a lot of hotels south of Sherman Way on Sepulveda Boulevard that they work out of. Drug sales -- Oh, yeah and all their customers, too -- This is mostly happening on Sepulveda and Sherman Way, but there's a semblance of it right there in the common areas of the apartments, too! You have to be careful not to walk down the stairs in one section of Building Four, because he leaves his drugs there for pick up, I think. If you walk there too often, he sets up little trash piles and signals that make you wonder whether it's a good idea to walk there any more.
Personally, I've been suffering from horrid, penetrating stench and fumes and just gross sewage odors coming into my bathroom on the third floor apparently from the sewage pipes. I have notified them several times of this, but not as often as I could have. I found that the only way I was able to defeat this unhealthy toxicity from invading my apartment was by my own flushing of my toilet 40 times using a plunger/plumber's helper, plunging 12 to 16 times with each flush. That made the odor abate from 4 days to 2 to 3 weeks. My doctor ordered me to move immediately as of December 7. I have made it a rule to always leave the bathroom door closed, and now I notice the odors are coming up in the kitchen sinks some. I wake up every morning with my eyes all swollen and my throat raspy and soar and my nose and throat full of flegm. A building contractor told me he thought it was a sewage block. Remember. That's Building Four. The dogs make this building pretty dirty and stinky, too.
I will say that the noise between floors is a lot less than all other apartments I've lived in. Very good that way, but the wall between my next door neighbor's apartment and mine is very, very, very flimsy. No good. Could hear anything I felt like hearing without my ear to the wall.
Every so often a family with gang teens moves in and makes everything ugly for everybody. They smoke weed, hang out in areas that are inappropriate -- like sitting in the planter box area in front of your livingroom window. We have 24 hour security guards to keep things in order.
I come home to be calm and secure, away from the really ugly aspects of Los Angeles low life, but, now, it's here, too.
This place needs 24 hour police protection and law enforcement in a big way. I think they blow through every few months, but only if enough people call the police department to complain. Police Helicopters overhead are a common sight.
Landscaping: The sales pathway has very nice landscaping, but building Four is a dump. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb
