When I moved in the management was wonderful and the repairs were done on time, however, since she left the management has started moving in all their family from the LA area. The security gate has been broken almost the whole 3 1/2 years I have been here and at one point we had a security guard that did not speak english (and one died on the compound). The office now claims they have no control over what happens here and they have to go thru the city for permission even for maintenance!! People sit in the parking lot doing drugs, the police are often here and at one point we had someone living here wanted for murder! The rent is cheap if you can deal with no maintenance, occasional security, and having your car banged up from the kids here. The pool is constantly shut down because its often green, and one child ended up in the hospital because of a tic that bit her in the sand pits (which was supposed to be changed but never was). OH and they are barely insulated ... in the summer months you sweat because the air cannot cool the units and winter you will find that the windows and doors do not seal so the heat constantly run. Yes NorthGate has been a living experience... move there at your own risk!!!
