It was OK

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2003
I lived at Vista Hacienda from 2002 to 2003 in their 3x2 on the third level overlooking Highway 78. I was the last building right next to the llama farm. Because of the location all I heard was motorcycles and big rigs on the 78 Highway. I finally got use to it after a year and half, but my gawd the first 3 months were hellish!
I was lucky to have new carpet so that was a bonus because it made the place look 100 times better than the other places we saw.
Safety was a concern. The Vista jail is literally minutes away. One day it was so bad that a guy broke out of the jail and a shooting took place under my balcony.
My roommate was scared out of her wits. This was the shooting were the police dog was killed and they left the poor thing to bake on the asphalt for 2 days. We kept calling the police to do something about it. Finally did but the outline was there for months.
The only reason I would recommend this place is the price. You get what you pay for!
