Firstly, the management is horrible. They can't answer any questions promptly or accurately, they are disorganized, they lose rent checks and utility checks, and they don't take care of problems with the apartments. Probably 40% of the residents are illegal immigrants, and although that violates lease terms, they are not evicted. I've had police tell me to find another neighborhood because this one is dangerous and the gang and drug activity is outrageous. I've heard gunshots out my window, someone was murdered in the street behind the complex that serves as parking for the residents because there aren't enough spots on the property. The fence around the property gets jumped over at least 15 times a day, I can see it from my doorstep. They advertise that they have extra security because it is gated, but they leave the gates open! The walk-through gates didn't have locks, or even doorknobs, for the first few months I lived here. Anyone could push them open. There is an incident at least once a week where a cop is called and parked within 80yards of my front door. Don't let the inexpensive rent entice you, this place is crap. Have I mentioned that if you have a question for the leasing office, every employee will give you a different response' The freeway noise is unbearable from where my apartment is located. If I want to be heard from across my 750 sq ft apartment, I have to yell. Really yell. Our front door is crooked in the door frame, and when we ask to have it fixed we are told that it will be taken care of that day...But it's been about 7 months. My car has been broken into, even though I know to remove anything of value before walking away from my car. The management is so disorganized that I will get other people's eviction notices and complaints delivered to MY door, even though the address is clearly marked. The stairs leading up to my apartment are falling off the wall too. Spare yourself a great deal of frustration and find a decent place to live!

Your situation sucks, I didn't know about the gunshot thing. I live here as well and my car has been broken into as well, maybe even on the same day? I heard they come in often and just do the work of several cars. So much for security! For me the thing that bothers me the most is having roaches as roomates! I have done everything to rid of them, but they never seem to dissapear!

You know, I haven't had a single roach. I was kind of suprised when I read that on everyone else's reviews. Maybe it's because I am upstairs? I don't know. I'm pretty sure there's an ant colony in the wall between my front door & sink area though, and I've even had ants crawl down from a tiny hole in the ceiling in my room. The ants are pretty tenacious, they'll even go after water in a fish tank. They are at bay for now though..Kind of.
