I have been here a year and it is horrible.

lets start with maintance.... I still have a non working heater. The air conditioner works fine but the heat only heats up to 68 degrees. So to shut me up they provided me with a small portable heater 10 inches by 6 inches!!!! that when I plug it in it blows fuses and half my electricity goes out. I found one socket it will work in and if it gets really cold we have to sit 12 inches from it to warm up. It no way warms the home. The light in my oven went out, the circut breaker goes out all the time. I have come home twice to a defrosted freezer cuz my electricity blew out again. My toilet breaks at east twice a week. I have a 2 bd rm ONE bath. The first time the toilet broke it was 6 pm on a saturday night. There was me, my son and 2 friends from out of town visiting the night it broke. I called maintaince right away and was told he was too busy and couldnt get there til monday morning. ONE toilet and no place for the 4 of us to go to the bathroom for 2 days!!!!! OMG I was beside myself. I went to home depot got what I needed and ended up fixing it myself. Since I am not a plumber I didnt do the best job and it still breaks at least 2 times a week now. I have to stick my hand in the back to manually pull the plug to make it flush. ITS SO GROSS!!! And lets not forget about the MOLD in the bathroom that they painted over to cover it up so i wouldnt see it when I moved in.

Waterleaf does something every year that I never heard of any appartment doing. They have what they call an anual inspection. It is nothing more then a reason for them to come in YOUR appartment and snoop around. They say it is to check the appliances but when they showed up they insisted they check EVERY ROOM. I showed them my broken toilet, my faulty fuse box and my non working heater. In fact the day they were here snooping my refrigerator was out again. I was told the breaker box would be fixed ASAP. Has any of that been fixed'''' NOOOOOOOOOO only thing they cared about was snooping and going thru my things.

The sales office'' the only nice person there with half a heart there is Rhonda. Michells the office manager is a total JOKE. She wont return any calls and if you try to see her she is never available to talk to. It is always the same excuse. "Michelle is out of the office and wont be back til tomorrow"

They claim they have security..... LMAO that is a joke. It is ONE man that lives here and he has a full time job somewhere else. Every now and then he will walk around at night but it is rare. My place has been broken into 4 times in one year.

I tried contacting an attourny to get me out of here early. I figured since I have no heat and 7 police reports and feel very unsafe here I wouldnt have a problem right'' WRONG I was informed I signed a contract. Dont matter if I have 1 police report or 100 a contract is still a contract. Only way to let me go early is for Waterleaf to agree to let me out. Their conditions were.... Pay 3 months rent and they will let me go. So bacically I had to give them $4,050.00 if I wanted out early. If I had that kind of money I wouldnt be here in the first place. They had me right where they wanted me and they knew it. That is why they dont care about fixing anything. Cuz once you sign you are STUCK and that is all they care about.

If you like living in the slums with slum lords then this is the place for you. If you want to be somewhere safe and have maintnce and security and office staff that actually care about you then I suggest you look for a different place!!!!!!!
